Biography

Hello! I'm a photographer currently based in Tokyo, Japan. I was born & raised in Seattle, Washington and pay visits there about once a year. I've been living in Japan since January of 2006 with my wife, Eri. Although I have owned a camera since I was about 8 years old, only recently did I start showing an interest in photography. I bought my first digital SLR in January of 2007, but didn't use it to it's full potential until maybe a year later. In December of 2009, I upgraded from my Canon EOS 30D to a 7D. I love grabbing my camera and walking down the street to find interesting places to take pictures.

In addition to taking photos, I also enjoy playing trumpet, doing web/graphic design, and traveling.
